Our Society

It all started with a Facebook post.

An online discussion on the condition of the old Courthouse led to a meeting of like minded people who wished to fill a void in the county: the preservation of our landmarks, historical structures, and local history.

Who We Are:

We are just a group of people interested in the preservation and appreciation of the history of Lawrence County Alabama.
